Winter 2009 Class Schedule
“Bee Prepared”
Our ever popular “Bee Prepared” class series has just been improved! With the addition of Corn and “Bag Meals”; it is now an 8 class series. In eight weeks you will be the king or queen bee of your home storage kingdom. Take the stress out of learning to use your long term storage items through a series of instruction, demonstration, tasting and take-n-makes focusing on the following: “Bag Meals”, Wheat, Rice and Pasta, Corn, Oats and Sugar, Legumes, Powdered Milk, Oil and Seasonings.
Classes will be held on Wednesdays at 10:00 am or 7:00 pm.
Dates: Jan. 21 & 28; Feb. 4, 11, 18 & 25; March 4 & 11
Fee: $160.00
When registering, please specify the morning or evening series.
Registration for this class must be received by January 7, 2009.
Charm School
Becoming a charming young lady can be fun and exciting. Our Charm School classes are designed to help girls ages 11-16 successfully navigate their way through the ins & outs, dos & don’ts, and facts verses fiction of proper behaviors with confidence. She will be on her way to developing the grace, charm and poise that are universally admired.
The winter series of classes will include:
Skin Care and Makeup
Culinary Skills
Music and Theater
There will be two sections of Charm School offered this winter on Thursday evenings at 7 pm.
Section 1 14-16 year old girls Jan. 15; Feb. 12; March 12
Section 2 11-13 year old girls Jan. 22; Feb. 19; March 19
Fee: $85.00
Registration for this class must be received by January 8, 2009.
Private Classes
Are you looking for a unique experience or activity to share with your Book Clubs, Quilt Groups, Birthday Celebrations, Girls Night In, Mother-Daughter activity or Friend Gathering?
Is there a culinary or homekeeping skill you would like to learn more about? This winter The Wooden Spoon is reserving Tuesday mornings or evenings for you and your group of ten.
